Members and supporters (and Everyone)

You can become a member or supporter of the Arkaig Community Forest. In addition, anyone can request to receive our updates. 

Arkaig Community Forest is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) – Charity Number SC045209. 
The SCIO is a separate legal entity to its members, and members of the SCIO have no personal responsibility for the liabilities of the SCIO.

Supporting the Arkaig Community Forest

Two categories of membership are available for those who support the objectives of the SCIO:

Ordinary Membership – for permanent residents of the SCIO’s defined membership area, currently defined by postcode areas -
PH34 4EJ ,PH34 4EL, PH34 4EQ and PH33 7PD. Ordinary members have the right to vote at membership meetings, and the board of the charity must contain a majority of ordinary members.

Supporters – for supporters resident outwith the above areas. Supporters can provide valuable support to the SCIO in a variety of ways, will be eligible to attend events and meetings, and will be kept up to date with the news and progress of this exciting initiative.
